Spezifität

Clone 1D16-K is a ZooMAb® rabbit recombinant monoclonal antibody that detects DNAJB9. It targets an epitope within 23 amino acids from the C-terminal half of the protein.

Immunogen

KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to 23 amino acids from the C-terminal half of human DNAJB9.

Anwendung

Quality Control Testing

Evaluated by Western Blotting in mouse kidney tissue lysate.

Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:1,000 dilution of this antibody detected DNAJB9 in mouse kidney tissue lysate.

Tested Applications

Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected DNAJB9 in rat kidney tissue lysates.

Affinity Binding Assay: The binding affinity of this antibody to DNAJB9 peptide was at least one hundred thousand-fold (100,000X) higher than that obtained with the non-specific control peptide.

Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) Analysis: A 1:100 dilution from a representative lot detected DNAJB9 in human kidney and mouse kidney tissue sections.

Note: Actual optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user as specimens, and experimental conditions may vary with the end user.

Zielbeschreibung

DnaJ homolog subfamily B member 9 (UniProt: Q9UBS3; also known as Endoplasmic reticulum DNA J domain-containing protein 4, ER-resident protein ERdj4, Microvascular endothelial differentiation gene 1 protein) is encoded by the DNAJB9 (also known as MDG1, UNQ743/PRO1471) gene (Gene ID:4189) in human. DNAJB9 belongs to the DnaJ/Hsp40 protein family, which is involved in chaperone-mediated protein folding and cellular stress responses. DNAJB9 consists of various functional domains, including a J domain, which is responsible for interacting with Hsp70 chaperones, and a cysteine-rich domain implicated in protein-protein interactions. The expression profile of DNAJB9 varies across different tissues and cell types. It is expressed in various organs, including the brain, heart, liver, and kidney. DNAJB9 expression levels can be regulated under different physiological and pathological conditions, such as during cellular stress or in certain disease states. Increased expression of DNAJB9 has been observed in certain brain regions affected by diseases. This ZooMAb® recombinant monoclonal antibody, generated by our proprietary technology, offers significantly enhanced specificity, affinity, reproducibility, and stability over conventional monoclonals.

Physikalische Form

Purified recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody IgG, lyophilized in PBS with 5% Trehalose, normal appearance a coarse or translucent resin. The PBS/trehalose components in the ZooMAb formulation can have the appearance of a semi-solid (bead like gel) after lyophilization. This is a normal phenomenon. Please follow the recommended reconstitution procedure in the data sheet to dissolve the semi-solid, bead-like, gel-appearing material. The resulting antibody solution is completely stable and functional as proven by full functional testing. Contains no biocide or preservatives, such as azide, or any animal by-products. Larger pack sizes provided as multiples of 25 µL.

Rekonstituierung

300 µg/mL after reconstitution at 25 µL per vial. Please refer to guidance on suggested starting dilutions and/or titers per application and sample type.

Lagerung und Haltbarkeit

Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C; Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial; Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 µL of filtered lab grade water or PBS; Reconstituted antibodies can be stored at 2-8°C, or -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.
