Produced by infecting a DBA/2 mouse with Friend leukaemia virus. Inducible haemoglobin synthesis by exposure to DMSO (reversible action); may represent the de-repression of leukaemic cells to permit their maturation.

Subkultur-Routine

Maintain cultures between 2-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO₂; 37°C. Freeze in 10% Glycerol.
