Allgemeine Beschreibung
Collagen is a major component of several human tissues, mainly of bone. Bovine collagen is biodegradable and was first obtained from a fresh calf skin.
Type V Collagen provides structure and strength to connective tissue and is found in many places in the body, especially skin, lung, intestinal walls and walls of blood vessels. This Type V Collagen product is isolated from placenta and is purified using a multi-step process with a final purity of >95%. Type V collagen forms a triple helix composed of a Alpha 1(V)2 Alpha 2(V) heterotrimer.
Type V Collagen is typically used as a thin coating on tissue culture surfaces. This product is generally used in vitro as a substrate scaffold to enhance cell attachment, adherence and proliferation. Type V collagen may be used to culture a variety of cell types.

Previous biochemical studies have identified strychnine-sensitive glycine receptors in membrane preparations of Hydra vulgaris (Cnidaria: Hydrozoa). Electrophysiological and behavioral evidence has shown that these receptors play a role in modulating pacemaker activity and feeding behavior. Here, we present our genomic
