Acetylsalicylic acid for peak identification EP Reference standard, intended for use in laboratory tests only as specifically prescribed in the European Pharmacopoeia.

Biochem./physiol. Wirkung

Verhindert durch Hemmung der Cyclooxygenase (Prostaglandin H Synthase) die Produktion von Prostaglandinen mit höher Selektivität für COX-1. Für den antithrombotischen Effekt ist die Hemmung von COX-1 in Thrombozyten verantwortlich, welches die Produktion von Thromboxan und die Blutplättchenaggregation hemmt. Chemopräventive Wirkung gegenüber kolorektalen und anderen soliden Tumoren.
