Allgemeine Beschreibung

Sulfacetamide Sodium belongs to the class of sulfonamides, widely used in ophthalmic preparations, to treat different ocular infections such as corneal ulcers and conjunctivitis. It shows bactericidal activity against susceptible microorganisms.

Anwendung

Sulfacetamide Sodium may be used as a pharmaceutical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in pharmaceutical formulations by spectrometric technique and micellar electro-kinetic chromatography.
