General description

MVH (also known as DDX4 or Vasa) is a member of the DEAD family of proteins and is a probable ATP-dependent RNA helicase. MVH is mostly localized in testicular germ cells in the cytoplasm of spermatocytes. MVH is a high-copy extragenic suppressor gene. MVH is shown to be significantly decreased in spermatozoa of men that are infertile and may have an important role in male fertility and in stem cell development.

Specificity

This antibody specifically recognizes wild type MVH acetylated at Lys405, but not the Lys405 mutant.

Immunogen

Epitope: Acetylated Lys405
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to mouse MVH acetylated at Lys405.

Application

Anti-acetyl-MVH (Lys405) Antibody is a Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody for detection of acetyl-MVH (Lys405) also known as Probable ATP-dependent RNA helicase DDX4, DEAD box protein & has been validated in DB, WB, ICC, PIA & IP.
