Description générale

The product is a mixture derived from hybridomas RT-39 and RL-6, secreting monoclonal antibodies against rat κ and λ light chains, respectively.
The product recognizes epitopes located on the rat κ and λ light chains on the various rat immunoglobulin classes and subclasses. The epitope recognized on the κ light chains is shared by both the 1a and 1b allotypes of this molecule. The antibody detects the κ and λ light chains derived from normal serum immunoglobulins or from myeloma proteins. Weak cross-reaction is observed with guinea pig immunoglobulins but not with human, bovine, cat, chicken, dog, goat, horse, mouse, pig, rabbit or sheep immunoglobulins.

Application

Monoclonal Anti-Rat Kappa & Lambda Light Chains-FITC antibody produced in mouse has been used in:
  • fluorescent dot binding immunoassay (FDIBA)
  • immunocytochemistry
  • immunohistochemistry
  • flow cytometry

Actions biochimiques/physiologiques

FITC Monoclonal Anti-Rat kappa and lambda Light Chains may serve as an essential tool in the localization of light chains on rat immunoglobulins.

T-cell response to trauma has been assessed primarily by sampling peripheral blood lymphocytes. We hypothesized that lymphocytes residing in tissue and traveling through lymph vessels are more likely to be activated by tissue injury and hemorrhage-induced hypoperfusion. We compared peripheral
