Description générale

Rugged heavy-wall reactors with a Schott flange with shallow O-ring groove at the top for connection to a jointed head with quick-release clamp. These complete bench top systems include all components required for operation except an IKA® stirrer motor, model RW 20.n, which is recommended for all reactor sizes. See the stirrer section for a listing of these products.

Choice of two models:
Pressure filter reactor - rated 35 psig @ 100°C, Ace Threds allow use of vacuum or pressure to drain liquid from reactor, 2 x #15 and 1 x #7 AceThreds on 60 mm head, 3 x #15 and 1 x #7 Ace Threds on 100 mm head
Jacketed pressure filter reactor - as above with jacket for heating or cooling reaction

Applications:
  • Oxidation/reduction reactions where the particulate can be drawn down to a filter cake
  • Nanotechnology where the material must be contained and the filtrate is the actual product or nano-particle needed
  • Simple Bioreactor as gases can be introduced through pressure head via a pressure or NPT fittings and tubing
  • Paints/pigments other viscous solutions

Both systems include:
  • Heavy-wall glass reactor body and head, CAPFE O-ring and SS quick-release clamp
  • Ace Thred PTFE bottom filter adapter, o-ring, and filter support, PTFE thread adapter, o-ring and PTFE bottom valve. Dead space below frit is 4.5-5 mL liquid w/ water viscosity +/- 0.5 mL
  • Non-flaking stir shaft bearing
  • Glass stir shaft with PTFE agitator assembly
  • Addition funnel
  • West condenser
  • Support package including holed plate, stand, chain clamp, and holder
  • PTFE stoppers
  • Chuck adapter for IKA stirrer motor
Take replacement CAPFE O-ring, Ace 7855-878.
