Cell Line Description
Produces a monoclonal antibody (IgG1) which reacts with the ß chain of the plant toxin ricin.

Application
Has been used in a protocol for purifying the α chains (A1 and A2) of ricin with minimal cross-contamination for the preparation of immunotoxins.
Culture Medium
DMEM + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Subculture Routine
Maintain cultures between 100,000 - 1,000,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C.
