General description
Recombinant, β1-3,6-Galactosidase expressed in E. coli. Catalyzes the hydrolysis of non-reducing terminal β1,3- and β1,6-linked galactose from complex carbohydrates and glycoproteins. Not known to cleave substituted or branched galactose. Inhibited by fucose attached to penultimate sugar.
