General description

TissueFab® bioink Facile Curable Gel, Ionic, low endotoxin is a gelatin based bioink for 3D bioprinting applications. This bioink is a ready-to-print formulation designed to crosslink without the necessity of light irradiation which can be detrimental to cell health. The bioink can be crosslinked in a dilute solution of multivalent cations including TissueFab® bioink - crosslinking solution (Cat#919926).

The bioink has a Gelatin base which as a natural protein offers excellent cytocompatibility and cell-binding motifs in order to mimic the native extracellular microenvironment.

Low Endotoxin, low bioburden: Endotoxins have been demonstrated negatively impact cellular growth, morphology, differentiation, inflammation and protein expression. Bioburden is defined as the number of contaminated organisms found in a given amount of material. We test each lot for endotoxins as well as total bioburden (aerobic and fungal) to minimize unwanted interactions.
