General description

We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This product has been enhanced for energy efficiency. Find details here.

Application

Catalyst for:
  • Stille reaction
  • Hydrogenation reactions
  • Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling and Heck-Mizoroki reactions
  • Deoxygenation
  • Oxidation reactions
  • Coupling reactions
Palladium on carbon (Pd/C) (30 wt. % loading, matrix activated carbon support) can be used for a variety of applications, such as:
  • a catalyst for hydrodechlorination of dichlorodifluoromethane (CCl2F2), which is a known greenhouse gas
  • a catalyst for Heck reactions of aryl halides in ionic liquids
  • an anode catalyst for the fabrication of direct formic acid fuel cells (DFAFC)
  • a cost-effective electrocatalyst for the oxidation of methanol
  • in the catalytic hydrogenation of chemical hydrides for the production of hydrogen
  • a catalyst in Suzuki-Mayaura reaction
Product can be used with our benchtop hydrogen generator, H-Genie Lite (Z744083)
