Platinum on carbon (5 wt.% loading, matrix activated carbon support) (Pt/C) can be used as a catalyst for a variety of applications, such as:
Product can be used with our benchtop hydrogen generator, H-Genie Lite (Z744083)
- hydrosilylation reaction for the production of molecules with silicon-carbon bonds
- direct alcohol fuel cells (DAFCs)
- an electrocatalyst in hydrogen evolution reaction (HER)
- formation of nanocatalyst for polymer electrolyte fuel cells
- hydrogenation of alkenes, alkynes, nitro groups, ketones, and aromatics
- hydrogenolysis of cyclopropanes
- oxidation of alcohols.
