Allgemeine Beschreibung

1-Cys-Peroxiredoxin is a cytosolic protein that is involved in the regulation of cellular redox potential. 1-Cys peroxiredoxin is a bifunctional enzyme with glutathione peroxidase and phospholipase A2 activities (Chen, 2000). It can reduce hydrogen peroxide, short chain fatty acids, and phospholipid hydroperoxides and is believed to play a role in phospholipid turnover as well as in the protection against oxidative injury.

Western blot on rat lung lysate (24 kDa) or recombinant human protein.

Immunohistochemistry on 4% paraformaldehyde fixed rat lung tissue.

Immunocytochemistry on rat type II alveolar epithelial cells.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.
