Beschreibung

Allgemeine Beschreibung

Bcl2-associated athanogene 3 (BAG3), also known as CAIR-1 or Bis, belongs to a family of six evolutionarily conserved co-chaperone proteins that contain a characteristic C-terminal BAG domain. In most cell types, BAG3 is localized to the cytoplasm, where it regulates the heat shock protein 70 chaperone. BAG3 is activated in response to stressful stimuli, and plays a critical role in modulating multiple cellular processes, including apoptosis, autophagy, embryonic development, and actin rearrangement. Abnormal expression of BAG3 results cardiomyopathy dilated type 1HH.

Detect BAG family molecular chaperone regulator 3 (BAG3) using this Anti-BAG family molecular chaperone regulator 3 (BAG3) Antibody validated for use in Western Blotting, IHC(P).

Immunohistochemistry Analysis: A 1:500-1:1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected BAG3 in human cardiac and renal tissues.

Qualität

Evaluated by Western Blot in DU145 cell lysate.

Western Blot Analysis: 0.5 µg/mL of this antibody detected BAG3 in 10 µg of DU145 cell lysate.

Zielbeschreibung

~74/40 kDa observed. An uncharacterized band may appear at ~65 kDa in some lysates.
