Beschreibung

Anwendung

Ammonium-15N-Chlorid wird für folgende Anwendungen eingesetzt:

• als Medienzusatz für die Aufnahme von 15N in Sporulationsprotein, CsfB, in der NMR-Spektroskopie
• in der Bestimmung des Stickstoffverlusts in marinen Sedimenten
• für die Aufnahme von 15N in Apolipoprotein A-I zur massenspektroskopischen Analyse

Biochem./physiol. Wirkung

Ammoniumchlorid ist ein Bestandteil des Stickstoffkreislaufs. Überschüssiges Ammoniumchlorid baut ATP in Astrozyten ab. Ammoniumchlorid hemmt die Versauerung im Endosom-Lyosom-System. Es ist ein hämolysierendes Mittel, das in der Lyse von Erythrozyten eingesetzt wird. Die Verabreichung von Ammoniumchlorid fördert den Kreatinin- und Harnstoffabbau in Ratten.
