Description générale

Sephadex® G-25, Superfine is an often-cited gel filtration medium for desalting and buffer exchange. Sephadex® is prepared by crosslinking dextran with epichlorohydrin. Sephadex products differ in their degree of cross-linking and hence in their degree of swelling and their molecular fractionation range. “Superfine” indicates the smallest particle size available.

Application

Sephadex® G-25 is suitable for buffer exchange and desalting oligonucleotides for use in sequencing, PCR, and labeling applications. It was used to isolate two different peptides of Pronase E extracted from Alaska Pollack skin.

Caractéristiques et avantages

  • Excellent recovery
  • Minimal sample dilution
  • Quick and easy to use
