RAB11FIP3 (RAB11 family interacting protein 3) is also termed as arfophilin and eferin. It is a Rab11 and ADP-ribosylation factor (ARF) binding protein. This gene is located on human chromosome 16p13.3.

Application

Anti-RAB11FIP3 antibody has been used in atomic force microscopy.

Actions biochimiques/physiologiques

RAB11FIP3 (RAB11 family interacting protein 3) participates in the trafficking events like migrating endosomally-derived membrane to the cleavage furrow during cytokinesis. It helps to maintain the structural integrity of the endosomal recycling compartment. RAB11FIP3 modulates cytokinesis.
