Description générale
Application
The ligand contains caroxylic group and thus its features partly resemble a weak cation exchanger, but for Capto™ MMC also several other types of interactions are involved, including hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic interactions.
Capto™ MMC is available in a range of different bulk pack sizes and convenient pre-packed formats for easy scale-up and process development. As member of the BioProcess media range, Capto™ MMC meets industrial demands with security of supply and comprehensive technical and regulatory support.

Articles
Capto MMC is a multimodal cation exchanger with the properties of a weak cation exchanger. In addition to electrostatic interactions, the ligand structure provides for additional interaction modes such as hydrophobic interaction, hydrogen bonding, and thiophilic interaction.
