The sponge stick is used to check the environment during production at a low probability or absence of disinfectant. The sponge stick is blue and made of plastic equipped with release clamps. It comes in an easy-to-open blue pre-cut sampling bag along with a blank area for writing sample information. The bag is supplied with an adhesive closure label for sample protection. Buffered Peptone water, calibrated to a dose of 10 mL, is used as a diluent.
