Application

Renin (angiotensinogenase) is a component of the renin-angiotensin system (RAS) that regulates vasoconstriction and blood pressure. Renin which hydrolyzes angiotensinogen in vivo may be detected using peptides substrates such as succinyl-RPFHLLVY-AMC. This substrate may also be used to detect proteinase A from yeast.
