General description

Eriocitrin is a flavonoid glycoside mainly found in fruits like lemon.

Application

Eriocitrin may be used as a reference standard in the determination of eriocitrin in samples of lime juice using solid phase extraction coupled with high performance liquid chromatography (SPE-HPLC).
Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Flavone glycoside found in lemon. Administration prior to acute exercise helped to maintain the redox status of liver glutathione. Without eriocitrin, it shifts markedly toward oxidized form.

Packaging

Bottomless glass bottle. Contents are inside inserted fused cone.
