General description

Campylobacter Millichrome plus supplement is a selective media supplement for the detection of thermotolerant Campylobacter. The supplement provides additional selectivity to the Campylobacter Millichrome plus Agar Base. Millichrome chromogenic media is a specialized type of culture medium used to detect and isolate specific groups of bacteria based on their ability to produce enzymes with chromogenic substrates. The package contains 1 vial of supplement sufficient for 5 liters of final media. The supplement must be added to the melted Campylobacter Millichrome plus Agar Base at 45-50 °C.

Application

Campylobacter Millichrome plus supplement is a selective chromogenic culture media supplement intended for use in the qualitative direct detection, differentiation and presumptive identification of pathogenic biotypes of thermotolerant Campylobacter from various samples
