General description

Diosmin is a flavonoid glycoside that occurs naturally as an active constituent of citrus fruits.(1) It possess a wide range of pharmacological properties like antioxidant, anticarcinogenic, blood-lipid lowering and also anti-inflammatory activities. Diosmin can also find applications in the healing of venous ulcers, enhancement of microcirculation and improvement of venous tone.
