Gene Information

human ... RIPK1(8737)

General description

Receptor-interacting serine/threonine-protein kinase 1, also known as Cell death protein RIP or Receptor-interacting protein 1 (RIP-1) or Serine/threonine-protein kinase RIP, and encoded by the gene name RIPK1 or RIP or RIP1, contains 1 death domain and 1 protein kinase domain. RIPK1 is localized to the cytoplasm and plays an important role in a variety of cellular pathways including the NF-κB pathway and programmed necrotic cell death (necroptosis).

Immunogen

GST-tagged recombinant protein corresponding to human RIP1/RIPK1.

Application

Detect RIP1/RIPK1 using this Anti-RIP1/RIPK1 Antibody, clone 3C6.1 validated for use in western blotting.

Quality

Evaluated by Western Blotting in Jurkat cell lysate.

Western Blotting Analysis: 0.5 µg/mL of this antibody detected RIP1/RIPK1 in 200 µg of Jurkat cell lysate.
