Specificity

Gamma synuclein. The immunizing peptide was chosen to reduce cross-reactivity of AB6466 with a and b-synuclein. Immunohistochemical and Western blot analysis of human brain indicates a high level of specificity.

Peptide corresponding to the amino acids 114-127 of human gamma synuclein protein.

This Anti-Synuclein Antibody, γ is validated for use in WB, IH for the detection of Synuclein.
Western blot: 1:500-1:1,000.

Immunohistochemistry: 1:1,000 on frozen tissue.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.

Physical form

Rabbit serum. Lyophilized. Contains no preservative. Reconstitute with 50 μL of sterile distilled water. Centrifuge if necessary to remove any residue.

Storage and Stability

Maintain lyophilized material at -20°C to -70°C for up to 6 months. After reconstitution maintain frozen at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
