Specificity

Antibody shows by RIA cross reactivity with mouse collagen types I, III, IV of less than 0.1% at a dilution of 1:100. The antibody also demonstrates a reactivity with mouse fibronectin of less than 0.1% by RIA at dilution of 1:100. There is also cross reactivity with bovine collagen type II by ELISA

Immunogen

Collagen Type II extracted and purified from mouse fetal cartilage.

Application

Anti-Collagen Type II Antibody is an antibody against Collagen Type II for use in ELISA, IF, RIA, IH.
Immunohistochemistry: 1:40-1:80 dilution for immunofluorescent staining of fresh frozen mouse articular tissue. Acetone or methyl-carnoy fixation is also reactive.
