General description
This Spectroquant® Nickel test allows the accurate quantification of nickel ions in various waters. Nickel(II) ions are oxidized by iodine and then transformed with dimethylglyoxime in an ammoniacal solution into a red-brown complex that is determined photometrically.
MQuant® test strips can be used for pre-testing a sample in an economic and quick way to estimate the nickel concentration and a possible dilution factor prior to using a quantitative method such as the Spectroquant® test.
All our Cell and Reagent Test Kits are equipped with the unique Live ID (2D barcode) which allows seamless method recognition and contains essential information such as lot number, expiry date, and automatic calibration updates.
The Spectroquant® Reagent Test Kits contain highly stable, ready-to-use reagent mixtures to perform the analysis according to the procedure described in the accompanying instruction leaflet.
