General description

SupraSolv® hypergrade for organic trace analysis is a unique and universal solvent quality which can be employed for all three GC detection methods (ECD, FID and MS). Thanks to the large retention time range, even low-boiling substances can be reliably analyzed.

Application

  • Evaluation of the antifungal photodynamic activity of Thymophylla pentachaeta extracts against Candida albicans and its virulence factors.: This study explores the antifungal properties of Thymophylla pentachaeta, highlighting the use of dichloromethane in the extraction process, which is critical for isolating active compounds with potential therapeutic applications (Cordisco et al., 2021).

  • Amazonian medicinal smokes: Chemical analysis of Burseraceae pitch (breu) oleoresin smokes and insights into their use on headache.: This research details the chemical components of Burseraceae pitch smokes, with a focus on compounds extracted using dichloromethane. These findings provide insights into traditional medicine and its applications in treating headaches (da Cruz Albino et al., 2021).

  • Chemical characterization, antioxidant and enzyme inhibitory effects of Mitracarpus hirtus extracts.: This paper discusses the antioxidant and enzyme inhibitory properties of Mitracarpus hirtus, where dichloromethane was used in the extraction process to isolate bioactive compounds, emphasizing its utility in pharmacological screenings (Etienne et al., 2021).

  • Assessment of in vitro anthelmintic activity and bio-guided chemical analysis of BRS Boyrá pineapple leaf extracts.: Investigates the anthelmintic activities of pineapple leaf extracts, using dichloromethane for the extraction and isolation of active compounds, providing valuable insights into the potential veterinary applications of these extracts (Rodrigues et al., 2020).

  • Head Louse Feces: Chemical Analysis and Behavioral Activity.: This study analyzes the chemical composition of head louse feces, including the application of dichloromethane in the extraction process. The findings offer a deeper understanding of the behavioral responses associated with louse infestations (Galassi et al., 2020).
