General description

Zolpidem is a non-benzodiazepine hypnotic sold under the trade names Ambien®, Stilnox® and Edluar® for the treatment of insomnia. This stable-labeled internal standard is suitable for quantitation of zolpidem levels in urine, serum, or plasma by LC/MS for urine drug testing, clinical toxicology, forensic analysis, or isotope dilution methods. Zolpidem has a wide history of abuse, including recreational use and as a date-rape drug.
