Application

7β,27-dihydroxycholesterol-d6 has been used as an internal standard in ultra-performance liquid chromatography - tandem mass spectrometer (UPLC-MS/MS).

Biochem/physiol Actions

7β,27-dihydroxycholesterol (7β27OHC) serves as a ligand for retinoid-related orphan receptor γ (RORγ). 7β27OHC is also involved in smoothened (Smo) functionality.
