Application

Methanethiol may be used in the synthesis of 1,3-bis(methylthio)-2-propanol from epichlorohydrin. It can undergo steam reforming over cerium oxide to form hydrogen-rich gases (hydrogen, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide).

Packaging

500ml high pressure aluminum cylinder equipped with a stainless steel valve according to DIN 477-1.

Other Notes

For 742805-400G-EU packaging: 1000 mL of aluminium cylinder equipped with stainless steel valve.

Recommended products

For 742805-400G-EU: outlet fitting: DIN 477-1 no. 1, Z742162 or Z742164 are the recommended regulators.
