Cesium hydroxide solution is used to make porous cesium titanosilicates, potential ion-exchange materials for cleanup of radioactive wastes.CsOH impregnated in FAU zeolites enhanced their basic properties without affecting the FAU framework.It can effectively catalyse the condensation of methyl propionate with formaldehyde to yield methyl methacrylate.
