Application

1,4-Dichlorobenzene-d4 solution has been used as a recovery internal standard in the extraction and analysis of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, polychlorinated biphenyls and organochlorine pesticides in water and sediment samples using gas chromatography method (GC). It has also been used as internal standard in the quantitative determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in biomass burning aerosols, using gas chromatography (GC) coupled with desorption electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (DESI-MS).
