General description
EpiGRO Prostate Epithelia Complete Media Kit is optimized for the culture of human prostate epithelial cells. It supports the growth of these cells over a period of at least 15 population doublings. This medium does not contain any antimicrobials or phenol red; components that can cause cell stress and “masking effects” that may influence experimental results. It is formulated for use in an incubator with an atmosphere of 5% CO⒉

Quality
Each lot is checked for growth promoting activity, adherence rate, and typical morphology. In addition, all lots of media have been tested for the absence of microbial contaminants (fungi, bacteria, mycoplasma).
Storage and Stability
Basal Medium should be stored at 2-8°C in the dark. Do not freeze.Supplement Mix should be stored at -20°C. Supplemented Medium is stable for up to 4 weeks at 2-8°C. Do not freeze the supplemented medium. For use, aliquot and pre-warm the needed amount of medium, keeping the remaining medium refrigerated at 2-8°C.
