General description

Millicell® Cell Culture inserts with Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) membrane are ideal for the growth and differentiation of various cell types. This individually sterile-packaged insert has an high pore density translucent 0.4 μm pore size membrane and fits in most 24-well plastic tissue culture plates.

The insert’s flanged design suspends it within the culture plate well and makes it possible to access both sides of the cell monolayer. Spaces between three protruding arms facilitate pipetting between the outside of the insert and the culture plate well.

Application

  • Cell Proliferation
  • Cell Surface Receptors
  • Co-Culture
  • Epithelial Cell Growth
  • Feeder Layers
  • Fluorescent Detection / Immunohistochemistry
  • In Vitro Toxicology
  • Microbial Attachment
  • Polarized Protein Secretions
  • Polarized Uptake
