EPA 502/524.2 VOC Mix can be used for identifying and quantifying volatile halogenated organics and other volatile organics in drinking water. The analyst may be better equipped to choose between gas chromatography (GC) with a selective detector or gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) or high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) as a preferred method of quantification.
