Application

Qualified for use as a titration acid in insect cell culture applications.
Phosphoric acid has been used:
  • as a component of preservative in yeast-sucrose food for maintaining Drosophila melanogaster
  • in the preparation of triethylamine phosphate stock solution
  • as a component in the preparation of protein reagent
  • to adjust pH during the preparation of phosphate buffer solution

Phosphoric acid is commonly used in fertilizer industry. It is also used in the manufacture of insecticide and pesticide.
