Application

This Standard Reference Material (SRM) is intended for the validation of analytical methods and measurements to determine arsenic species in human urine.

Features and Benefits

  • Accompanied by NIST-certified values for arsenic species that are metrologically traceable to the SI unit of mass concentration, expressed in micrograms per liter.
  • Non-certified values for total arsenic are provided.
  • Expiration details, along with instructions for handling, storage, and use, are included on the NIST certificate.

Preparation Note

SRM 2669 is shipped on dry ice, and it should be stored at –80 °C until use. The material should be used within 4 h after being thawed.

Other Notes

Certified for the analytes listed below.
Arsenous acid (H3AsO3), Arsenic acid (H3AsO4), Monomethylarsonic acid (CH5AsO3), Dimethylarsinic acid (C2H7AsO2), Trimethylarsine oxide (C3H9AsO), Arsenobetaine (C5H11AsO2), Arsenocholine (C5H14AsO)

Reference/Informational value is provided for the following analytes.
Arsenic (As, Trimethylarsine oxide (C3H9AsO), Arsenocholine (C5H14AsO)
