General description

Tryptic Soy Agar - in 90 mm settle plates with 30 mL filling volume for long incubation is designed for the detection of the total aerobic microbial count in the air via active or passive air monitoring as well as fingerprints of personnel in controlled environments.
TSA medium is used for the cultivation and isolation of a wide range of bacteria, yeasts, and molds. The formulation contains a combination of casein and soy peptones supplying organic nitrogen, particularly amino acids and longer-chained peptides. Sodium chloride maintains the osmotic equilibrium.

Application

Tryptic Soy Agar in 90 mm settle plates is designed for the determination of the total aerobic microbial count in air via active or passive air monitoring as well as fingerprints of personnel in controlled environments.
