Application

O-(2-Mercaptoethyl)-O′-methyl-hexa(ethylene glycol) can be used :
  • in PEGylation reaction to form a self-assembled monolayer (SAM) on gold electrodes
  • as a cross linking reagent in the preparation of alginate-based hydrogel system via photoinitiated thiol-ene reaction
