General description

Anti-MARK3 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total MARK3 protein.
The gene MARK3 (microtubule affinity regulating kinase 3) is mapped to human chromosome 14q32.3. It belongs to the Par-1 family of serine/threonine kinases.

The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human MARK3.

MARK3 (microtubule affinity regulating kinase 3) is activated by phosphorylation and is responsible for the phosphorylation of other proteins. Changes in the expression of MARK3 are associated with carcinogenesis.
