General description

Application
RM 8404 is intended to harmonize the measurement of allergenic almond proteins in foods, considering the following:
(1) the composition of almonds may vary depending on their source or the pretreatments they have undergone (e.g., roasting, defatting)
(2) when the material undergoes preparation or processing methods (such as boiling, frying, or baking), its composition and properties may be altered.
