General description

Hydromorphone, marketed under brand names including Palladone and Dilaudid^®, is a very potent opiate used as an analgesic for treating pain or as a cough suppressant for painful coughing resulting from continued bronchial irritation. This Certified Spiking Solution^® is suitable for isotope dilution methods or quantitation of hydromorphone levels by GC/MS or LC/MS for clinical toxicology, pain prescription monitoring, urine drug testing, or pharmaceutical research applications.

Application

• Hydromorphone-D6 as an internal standard in opioid research: Hydromorphone-D6 solution is utilized as a stable isotope-labeled internal standard for the quantification of hydromorphone in human plasma via liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry.
