General description

Cyphenothrin is classified under the synthetic pyrethroid category of pesticides.

Application

Cyphenothrin may be used as a reference standard for the identification of cyphenothrin in:
  • Animal fat samples by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS) equipped with electrospray ionization (ESI) and multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode of detection.
  • Indoor air by passive sampling using Tenax Tenax® tubes followed by thermal desorption gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (TD-GC-MS).
  • Urine samples by GC-MS with electron impact (EI) ionization.
  • Fruit matrices by HPLC with ultraviolet (UV) detection.

Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.
