Specificity

This antibody detects a monomorphic general framework determinant of HLA-DR Class II antigen. It reacts with human B-lymphocytes, monocytes, macrophages, activated T-cells, thymic epithelium, B-cell lymphomas and Langerhans cells. In addition this antibody shows broad species cross-reactivity and has been used to identify Class II antigens on bovine and feline B-cells2.

Immunogen

Human peripheral blood leukocytes.

Application

Detect HLA-DR using this Anti-HLA-DR Antibody, clone 169-1B5.1, FITC conjugated validated for use in FC.
This antibody may be used for the classification of leukemias and lymphomas, and immunophenotyping by flow cytometry.

SUGGESTED USAGE

Flow cytometry and immunofluorescence - use 10 μl direct from the vial per 100 μl of whole blood, or 1 x 10E6 peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) in 100 μl buffer.

Physical form

The antibody is supplied in 1.0ml phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 0.2% bovine serum albumin and 0.1% sodium azide. The characteristics of each lot are tested by electrophoresis and flow cytometry.
