General description
Whatman® Spartan® syringe filters are cellulose fiber-based low protein binding hydrophilic membrane filter that provides reproducible filtration for high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and ultra-high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) sample preparation and analysis.
Application
Whatman®Spartan® syringe filters can be used:
- as high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) syringe filters
- in protein sample ultrafiltration, ultraviolet-visible (UV/VIS) analysis, and capillary gel electrophoresis
- in the application that requires a hydrophilic membrane with low protein binding in a polycarbonate filter housing and chemical resistance
Features and Benefits
- Provides reproducible results due to documented batch-to-batch consistency and quality
- High chemical resistance to common aqueous, organic, and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) grade solvents
- Recyclable with mini-tip option and low dead volume
- Water, methanol, and acetonitrile were tested and certified for the absence of ultraviolet (UV) absorbing substances
Suitability
Suitable for organic and aqueouse solutions in HPLC.
