General description

EPA 8260 Calibration Mix 2 is useful for identifying and quantifying the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) on the EPA′s Appendix VIII and Appendix IX lists in solid wastes and groundwater at active hazardous treatment, storage, and disposal sites. The pre-requisite of EPA 8260 method is the use of gas chromatography (GC) with a selective detector or gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) or high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
