General description

The antibody MEM-115 recognizes an epitope in the D1 domain of CD4 antigen, a 55 kDa transmebrane glycoprotein expressed on a subset of T lymphocytes (“helper“ T cells) and also on monocytes, tissue macrophages and granulocytes. It is negative in Western blotting even with non-reduced samples of cell lysates.

Human thymocytes and T lymphocytes

Application

The reagent is designed for Flow Cytometry analysis. Suggested working dilution for Flow Cytometry is 3 μg/mL of sample. Indicated dilution is recommended starting point for use of this product. Working concentrations should be determined by the investigator.

Lymphocyte membrane rafts contain molecules critical for immunoreceptor signaling. Here, we report identification of a new raft-associated adaptor protein LIME (Lck-interacting molecule) expressed predominantly in T lymphocytes. LIME becomes tyrosine phosphorylated after cross-linking of the CD4 or CD8 coreceptors. Phospho-LIME
