應用

Iodotrimethylsilane can be used as:

• A reagent in the hydroiodation of ynamides to yield the important building blocks (E)-α-iodoenamides.
• A reagent in the synthesis of (1-iodovinyl) arenes by hydroiodation of trimethylsilyl ethynylarenes.
